Each year, Residences at Deer Creek hosts a Mother’s Day fundraiser featuring a delicious pastry as a way to honor and to show our love for the special women in our lives. The proceeds are donated to a worthy non-profit organization in the area that shares our mission. This year, our very own pastry chef handcrafted over 100 beautiful individual sized blueberry lavender cheesecakes, topped with an edible orchid, blueberries, and a dusting of powdered sugar.
This year we raised $1000 for Meals on Wheels. At the core of the Meals on Wheels service is a nutritious meal, companionship and a watchful eye on the health and safety of our seniors. We are so proud to have helped this local organization supporting so many seniors in our community.
