Residences at Coffee Creek Receives New Business Construction Award

The Duneland Chamber of Commerce presented Residences at Coffee Creek the New Business Construction award at its annual luncheon on Wednesday at Sand Creek Country Club.

Presenting the awards was Julie Paulson of Harris Welsh & Lukmann. “Independence with Assistance” is the motto of the Residences at Coffee Creek.

Paulson said, “They have implemented 21st-century design principles and aesthetics geared specifically to senior residents. The community also adheres to an ‘aging-in-place’ concept that incorporates assistance, memory care, therapy, and more into a senior’s everyday routine, as needed.”

“Outstanding amenities and features include a restaurant with meals prepared by award-winning chefs, complimentary cafe and bistro dining, housekeeping and linen services, grounds-keeping, plus activities and events that engage seniors with their local and immediate community,” Paulson added. “Their amazing location comes with gorgeous views and connectivity to the Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve with walking paths, gardens, and regularly scheduled outings.”

Accepting the award was Lori McLaughlin.

“For us, it’s truly about the passion we feel every day when we’re walking the halls,” she said. “It’s more than a construction project. It’s what we feel when we see a new resident moving into their new home, or enjoying the watershed. It’s about the passion we get to see every day.
